![]() Your examinations will trigger the Ancient Armory quest and leave you with five Horizon Zero Dawn power cells to find. With Magellan, you can head for the horizon and beyond. Beyond this door you'll need another another three power cells to open the locks that hold the armor. The new MAP 330TM has a background map you can enhance with incredible detail from our optional. Two are working and three aren't, requiring power cells to become operational. Around to the right you'll see a locked door to the room where the armor is kept, sealed by five locks. You’ll see the Shield-Weaver armor as soon as you walk in, but getting it isn't quite as easy. Climb up to the top of the rocks and drop down into a small underground lake, then follow it until you come to a rip in the rock face which’ll lead into an ancient, high-tech bunker. Here you'll find a ruin south-west of Devil’s Thirst - look for some rusty pylons near a large rock formation. To do that head to the middle of the Embrace on the eastern side of the world map where Aloy initially starts the game. In order to find the Horizon Zero Dawn power cells you'll have to first trigger the relevant quest. If you can track down all five power cells available in Horizon Zero Dawn, this recharging shield armor can be yours, and it basically makes Aloy invincible so long as you avoid taking too much damage so it has time to recharge. The next door is straight ahead, but you want to go to the right first.Horizon Zero Dawn power cells are a particularly important commodity, because finding them all will grant you access to the Shield Weaver armor, which without doubt offers the best protection in the game. The Power Cell is located deeper in this ruin. While they could not be broken while Aloy was a child, you can now use your spear to open up the path. You’ll find yourself in a large room with some kind of ornamental structure in the middle. Power Cell Locations Ruins Where Aloy Fell as a Child Returning to the ruins from A Gift From the Past, there are 2 areas blocked by stalagtites and stalagmites. There s nothing to find behind it, so go and open the next door. A little after the mission starts, you’ll come across a door with a switch that you can open, so go ahead. Womb of the Mountain is a main story quest, right after The Proving. It’s marked by a green item icon, you can’t miss it. Smash your way inside, and you’ll find the power cell sitting on a table. You’ll see another room with a stalactite-covered doorway. Head back up another flight of stairs, continue forward into the next hallway, and turn right. Just bash your way through to collect the resources in the room. As you go on, you’ll find a room or two blocked off by stalactites. ![]() The game will then prompt you to pry the door open, and you can continue on your way. The road ahead might seem blocked, but all you have to do is approach one of the doors. ![]() At one point, you’ll go down a flight of stairs. It’s highly unlikely that you’ll lose your way. The path through the ruins is fairly straightforward.
